adding in parts strategy
My Reflection-
I have been learning to solve addition problems using the adding in parts strategy. I found adding the tidy numbers easy, rather than trying add without rounding up. I think my next step is to working larger numbers like 389 + 491.
This is a good strategy to use,and makes it easier to add big numbers - just make sure that you double check your numbers ie 50 + 70 = 120 so you have to add another 100, making it 432 not 332 :-)
