Multiplication Strategies

My Reflection

 I found the doubling & halving the easiest because I am really good at doubling & halving, I found the place value strategy quite easy too because I have had a lot of practice using this strategy.

 My next step is to understand the compensation strategy better because I found the adding and subtracting confusing.

My Reflection-

I have been learning to solve addition problems using the adding in parts strategy.  I found adding the tidy numbers easy, rather than trying add without rounding up.  I think my next step is to working larger numbers like 389 + 491.

My Reflection-

I was learning that numbers can be made & broken up in a number of different ways.

I found it easy because I was able to think up combinations quickly.

I also started with easy ones and moved on to harder ones.

My next step is to use more multiplication & division.
